Mediatek intros deca-core Helio X20 chip
Yes, you read that right. Meditek has a 10-core processor called the Helio X20.
The Helio X20 is composed of four (4) ARM Cortex A53 running at 1.4GHz (for power efficiency), another set of four ARM Cortex A53 running at 2.0GHz (for balance of power and performance) and two (2) ARM Cortex A72 (for extreme performance).
The processor is paired with a Mali T800 GPU.
We should be seeing a few smartphones sporting the 10-core chip around June, or thereabouts.

Maganda yan. Death to Qualcomm and other Yankee corporations!
Deca-Core + 100,000mah battery? haha.. tpos powerbank mo, generator :D
Gago!!!
@jim,
How the heck can they cool that thing? in most cases it will stay between Power Saving and Power Balance.
Still we find out the best and efficient way of handling our smartphones in particular ways of means , not of wasting it’s specification values. Mediatek will owned other mother-brood companies if this happen.
hindi naman paramihan ng core yan
Does each core even have an efficient instruction set?
