Valve’s Steam Link app for 2016 and 2017 Samsung Smart TVs is now out of beta and you can now try it if you have the hardware.

The Steam Link app allows you to stream games from your PC directly to a 2016 or 2017 Samsung Smart TV over your wired or wireless network, without using Valve’s proprietary Steam Link hardware.

“We’re thrilled that our Smart TVs are helping redefine the PC gaming experience by providing players the opportunity to utilize large-screen displays that deliver true-to-life picture quality.” Heeman Lee, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said.

The app is now available in 55 countries. Go ahead and try it if you have a gaming PC and a newer model Samsung Smart TV.
