One of the latest additions to Sony’s VAIO lineup, the Duo 13 is among the first few hybrid PCs to be powered by the 4th Generation Intel processor which promises speedy performance and efficient power consumption.

  1. Hello? at 129k pwede ba? don na lang ako sa macbook pro retina 15, in fact im using macbook pro 15′ retina which i love so much! …5 years na ako sa MacBook Pro, my last one was 13′ and in all those years hindi ako nakaranas ng virus files intact but recently napagod na ako sa maliit na screen so i upgraded dito sa 15′ retina ..no comparison to those run of the mill pc and laptop that are easily vulnerable to computer virus and trojan …

    • PC user ako, pero di naman ako nagkakaroon ng viruses at trojans at free anti virus software lang ang gamit ko. Even Macs are not 100% virus free. Kung maingat ka lang sa paggamit ng PC, virus & trojan infections are avoidable.

    • I understand your point that the rMBP 15″ are much more reasonable to buy for this price range but don’t see this product and the rMBP as equals. They are for different people for different uses.

And this is also not the official price of the product because it’s not yet officially released (AFAIK) here in the Philippines, it’s much cheaper abroad.

Also, don’t think that your not getting a virus is a Mac thing, many people don’t get virus because they know how the internet works, they are responsible and informed. Macs CAN get virus too, don’t be fooled by Apple’s words.

  2. Too expensive! sa ibang country, higher specs less than 100K, kasama na ang VAT.

  3. sa Sony US website ang price nito is $1899.99 or Php77899, normally pagdating dito mas mahal, but tingin ko naman Sony will price it below 129K.

    • that’s my one month salary when on contract! Not worthy to throw those bucks!
