Samsung Portable SSD T3 packs 2TB in a very small body

Samsung has announced a new compact external storage solution that allows you to carry up to 2TB of files in a very small body – the Samsung Portable SSD T3.

The Portable SSD T3 succeeds the Portable SSD T1 from last year. It now has double the capacity at up to 2TB (versus T1’s 1TB), read-write speeds of up to 450 MB/s (USB 3.1, 2.0 compatible), and an AES 256-bit hardware encryption. All housed in a shock-resistant metal case with internal support frame.

The T3 also comes in 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB capacities. It will be available in markets starting February. Pricing is yet to be announced.
