Synology has recently launched the DiskStation DS418j in Taiwan.
Synology’s DS418J has a 64-bit dual-core CPU, a 112 MB/s reading speed, and 87 MB/s writing speed under a Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) 5 in a Windows environment. It also has a 1GB DDR4 RAM and a 40TB single raw volume capacity support.
The NAS server has an adjustable front LED indicators that can configure brightness in four levels. The company also said that the device only consumes 21.22 watts in full operation while the 8.97 watts is consumed during HDD hibernation. It is said that the DS418J runs on Disk Station Manager (DSM)
