Sony Cybershot H20 and the whole Pack

Sony unveiled a dozen or so new products for their “Summer Gears 2009”; among them is the 10.1MP Cybershot H20 with a whole pack of protective cases for sports and marine activities.

A successor to the H10, the Sony Cyber-shot H20 is powered by a Carl Zeiss lens with Vario-Tessar and an optical zoom of up to 10x.

The camera can take full HD (1080p) of still image and 720p HD movies. It has a facial recognition function and an Optical SteadyShot feature (much like an image stabilizer). The screen display is a 3″ hybrid LCD monitor and supports ISO3200.

What I’m actually more interested was the various protective casing for the new Cybershot series. Since this is sort of a summer release, Sony included a whole line of underwater camera packs shown below.

The Marine Pack (left picture) I think can go down to a depth of 40 meters while the cheapest pack is the one in the middle which is only Php3,499.

  1. wow this is a nice summer gear~ I have a Fujifilm digicam (that looks likes this one); Im gonna use that camera for our summer trip (Boracay? hope that it’ll not be crowded, I wish haha)
what’s the price of this cybershot?
    nice post sir. :D :D

  2. Sony Ericsson Idou is a cellphone with 12.1 mp.

  3. yup, Idou is one nice SE phone. Pag reasonable ang price nun, maybe that’s the time to change my K800i hehe :)

  4. @CarloBlogg, no price yet; we’ll have to wait for the March/April release.

  6. korek ka jan whackerZ! hahaha

anyways, pixel count does not mean good image quality. a 12.1 megapixel phone camera with bad lens and and small sensor is nothing compared to any cheap 6 megapixel point-and-shoot camera. di ka naman siguro nagpapaprint ng poster size everyday.

  7. I think a very high pixel camera wont be necessary if you’re a normal camera user…. but H20 is a good camera for me, magkanu po kaya price nun?

  8. i love sony ericson so much….mag kanu kaya yan?????????
