Yahoo! has just unveiled their new logo to mark a new strategy under the leadership of Marissa Meyer. The new logo looks more simple and tighter, set in Optima font.
And looks like they’re also shedding off the purple color.
Let’s go straight to the vote, shall we? Is the new Yahoo! logo hot or not?

it’s a good thing they dropped the serif off
it looks fine but not that great
some of their logos have more character. This is just plain and bland.
i know that the logos nowadays are more of a “flat” design and simpler,but for me the old one still looks better nad more iconic since the font color is violet

Really? The font looks inexpensive and why do they need to be so redudant. Lol
Is this the final one? I recall yahoo said they are going to change it everyday for a period of time until they show the final logo.

The new one looks better. Simplicity at its finest. The old one looks “jeje”
I like it in purple :)
