YugaDeals: Sapido RB1632 Mobile 3G/DSL Router
Since we featured it here back in June, we’ve got a number of request for it to be offered in YugaDeals. Today, the Sapido RB1632 is finally up on our deal site.

I’ve been using this one along with several mobile 3G dongles with me (Globe, Smart & Sun) so I can easily switch between them to get the best 3G signal/speed.
I even bring it with me on foreign trips where hotels don’t have strong WiFi signal in the room or only have LAN ports available (works as an Access Point and WiFi extender).
Also managed to get it to work with a Smart Bro Rocket Plug-It. However, the Sapido GR1632 only supports up to HSDPA speeds (7.2Mbps and 14.4Mbps) so I’m only getting up to 5+Mbps when I pair the Rocket with the Sapido.
Still, it’s a pretty decent speed over WiFi, IMO. That’s on UnliSurf 200 for 5 days.

Note though that you will need to power it via wall socket or using a portable battery pack. The USB car charger also works fine.

will the sms and voice call functions of the usb modems still work when theyre used via the sapido router?

so its cheaper than pocket wifi defices… for about 4k+, this is 1,600+ubs broadband device only… the only thing is its not pocket friendly hehe, but its cheap… ill think about this one. kc for home use ko lng nmn so portability is not an issue
Pwede kaya ito iconnect sa desktop pc, tapos naka-on ung wifi nito para makaconnect naman ung laptop? Wala namang magiging conflict sa pagshare ng internet?

Edimax says their usb router as of now doesnt support hspa+, lte and wimax
