A Million Hits Later

As of this morning, this blog has reached 1,091,094 hits for the month of June. That’s from 36,182 unique visitors contributing over 263,070 pageviews.

A sizable amount of those came from people downloading Hello Garci ringtones and the complete Arroyo-Garcilliano recordings. A total of 170,634 ring tones have been downloaded from this blog alone, and if TxtPower.org included my stats in their Inq7.net interview (350,000 downloads), that’s almost 50% of the vast majority of downloads.

A rough estimate of the total number ring tones sent over MMS is about 175. Had I not asked for a small contribution to cover sending of MMS, it could have wiped out 2 or 3 Smart buddy pre-paid cards in just 2 days. And had it been free, the numbers would have gone ten-folds and I’d end up with a big hole in my pocket. :D

Total bandwidth used was 365 GB.

On a side note, KaWebSpy has been frantically searching for other ad revenue sources I am using for my blog. Just to point him to the right directions, my Amazon Associate ads can be found here (only selected posts), my Xoom Affiliate text ads can be found on all individual pages just below the comment box, and of course my dual-stream AdSense & Clicksor text ads on all pages (AdSense seems to dominate the Clicksor ads due to obvious reasons that Google ads are far greater in number than Clicksor).

  1. 1M 365GB whoa!
Be careful of your adsense clicks, unscrupolous persons might get your adsense account in trouble. Lalo na sa mga naghahanap ng “BUTAS”.

Anyway more power to yugatech, ploghost, pinoyblog and to you kuya abe!

  2. @retzwerx

    un-nethical hehe.

  4. congrats master abe! grabe 1,000,000 hits in a month? i can only dream about that..hehehe

He has a little secret to share. ;)

  6. @retzwerx

    @jaypee – thanks! ;)

  8. abe, pano ka babayaran ng clicksor? ok naman siguro na idisplay ko sya with adsense di ba? no mention of paypal with registration, so im assuming pwede ako dito. thanks.

btw, di ko pa nakukuha yung adsense check ko, pano ba ipapadala yun?

  9. @rain

Same thing, via check pa rin. They now allow payouts as low as $20. The Clicksor code generator has also a feature which you can use as an Alternate Ad, thus you can conveniently include into your AdSense code as google_alternate_ad_url=”URL”.

AdSense checks are cleared around 20 days after the end of month you reached $100. Then it takes another 2 or 3 weeks for them to send it to you via postal mail or registered mail.

  10. Hmm. Oh well, I’ve installed Clicksor on my individual entries, and my theme takes out the sidebar anyway, so solo ang Clicksor :)

Thanks for the info! Can’t wait for the check…

  11. sensya na sa tanong na ito pero where do i get my clicksor url?

  12. @Jaypee

Once logged in, go to Sites. In the listing, click Get Code and a new page appears with two images. Click on the Banner & Text Link Publishers. It will show you 6 tabled options. The 3rd row on the first column has this “To use Clicksor Ads as an alternative/default banner for other advertising networks:”. Use that one.

  13. hay salamat! i got it to work now. thanks abe! :D

  14. i use click-share.com:))))

  15. I absolutely love your site.. Very nice colors &
theme. Did you make this site yourself? Please reply back as I’m attempting to create my own personal website and would like to find out where you
got this from or what the theme is named. Cheers!
