Apple releases iOS 9.2.1 software update

Apple is sending out prompts for iOS users that an update for version 9.2.1 is now available for download. It is available for all devices that can support iOS 9 and aims to fix bugs and includes security updates.

Available through over-the-air download, the iOS 9.2.1 specifically mentions a bug fix for interruptions during app installations when an MDM (Mobile Device Management) server is used. The update prompt that we received on our iPhone 5S is at 36.9MB which downloads and installs straight to the device.

To those who still haven’t received the notification to update the software, you may manually check it by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Be sure that you’re hooked to a stable Wi-Fi connection to ensure no interruptions are experienced along the way.
