Samsung releases bug fix to missing QuickPanel toggle buttons

Over the week-end, thousands of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge handsets were affected by a bug that removed the QuickPanel toggle buttons for the Mobile Data, Hotspot and Private Mode.

Other Samsung devices were also affected (Tab S, Note 3, Galaxy Tab, etc.) but majority of it were the S6 series.

There were a couple of quick fixes from 3rd-party but it was only today that Samsung released a fix.

To download the bug fix app, open Samsung Apps and search for QuickPanel Restore. Once installed, run the app and it will restore the missing buttons.

The app will also automatically request that it be un-installed after running for the first time. You can un-install it once the toggles are back.
