Samsung wants its Note7 customers far from any harm that might be caused by the manufacturing error on select devices sold to the public. Apart from the recall program, the South Korean company is now also seeding a software update.
The Automatic Over the Air (AOTA) update for Galaxy Note7 will limit the charging current of the device once it reaches 60%. With this, Samsung hopes to urge consumers to participate with the ongoing replacement program.
For any Galaxy Note7 users who still haven’t brought in their device for replacement and exchange, please do so. You can read more about it at www.samsung.com/ph/note7replacement.
