#3x optical zoom

DJI has started teasing the upcoming Osmo Pocket 4P, confirming that the compact camera will have a second camera with 3x optical zoom. The second camera is a telephoto lens designed for zoom shots, while the main camera is expected to use the same 1-inch sensor found in the regular Osmo Pocket 4. OPPO has unveiled its latest imaging technologies for smartphones at the 2021 OPPO Future Imaging Technology Launch Event, which includes the company's next-generation RGBW sensor, the 85-200mm Continuous Optical Zoom, Five-axis OIS technology, and next-generation under-screen camera with a series of proprietary AI algorithms. Continuous Optical Zoom w/ 5-axis OIS OPPO plans to bring powerful zoom capabilities in its future smartphones with the 85-200mm Continuous Optical Zoom module. It adopts G+P (Glass + Plastic) lens technology for the first time, with two ultra-thin, high-precision aspheric glass lenses to boost optical effects. It also uses a tunnel magnetoresistance sensor (TMR sensor) to allow the lenses in the camera module to move with more stability and precision, and a newly upgraded guiding shaft motor to increase dynamic tilt at which the lens system can be moved, easily supporting Continuous Optical Zoom at higher magnifications. The Continuous Optical Zoom support equivalent focal lengths between 85mm and 200mm.
