#6K video recording

The model combines Nikon’s autofocus and in-body stabilization with RED’s color science and video codecs, positioning it against cameras like the Canon C50 and Sony FX3 at a lower price point. It can record 6K RAW video at 60fps, 4K at 120fps, and supports multiple formats including RED’s new R3D NE, Log3G10, Nikon N-RAW, ProRes/ProRes RAW, and H.265. For audio, the camera supports 32-bit float recording and features Nokia OZO surround sound with three built-in microphones. The body weighs 540 grams and can sustain 6K RAW recording for up to 125 minutes. The Luna Ultra also features a 1-inch sensor capable of recording 8K video and capturing high-resolution photos with improved dynamic range and color accuracy. Other features include 8K 30fps recording, Dolby Vision, 10-bit I-Log, Leica color profiles. There is also Deep Track 5.0 AI subject tracking, PureVideo low-light technology and a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen for remote monitoring and control. For video creators, the camera supports 7K 30p RAW open gate recording, allowing users to crop footage into different formats such as 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 from a single recording.
