Facebook has announced that they will be launching a platform for watching videos and shows called Watch after launching its Video tab in the United States. According to Facebook, the "Watch" will be a platform for creators and publishers to build and broaden their community. Because of these, Facebook now puts a cover over potentially-graphic videos that warns the user of its nature and asks for consent before it plays. This safety measure also disables those videos from auto-playing (a feature they rolled out previously).
