#Acer Timeline 1810tz

Saw a couple of units of the Acer Timeline 1810tz last month in VirraMall but this week, most of the PC shops in malls are already carrying them. Asus' 12-inch CULV and Acer's 11.6-inch Timeline notebooks are two of the most interesting models in the ULV category as they both offer portability and long battery life of netbooks but the processing power of laptops. On the bottom end, we have the Acer Timeline 1810tz. The Asus UL20 is bit bigger (12.1") compared to the Acer Timeline 1810tz (11.6") so it won't be a surprise if the former is also a bit heavier by 0.22lbs (3.3lbs vs. The smallest and lightest model in the Acer Timeline series is the 1810TZ and pretty much defines what the ULV segment should be -- thin, light, long battery light and has enough processing power. The good thing about the Acer Timeline 1810TZ is that, despite the low clock-speed at 1.3GHz, it's still got dual core processors.
