Acer has just released a special edition of the Acer Aspire Vero, the National Geographic Edition. According to Acer, each purchase of this special version helps support the US-based nonprofit organization National Geographic Society in its work to protect the world through exploration, research, and education. The design features a topographical map on the lid of the device, as well as the Nationa Geographic logo on the keyboard rest area of the laptop. The Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition builds on this design by also using 30% PCR in the laptops screen bezel and 50% in its keycaps, further reducing the laptop’s footprint.
