HMD has announced a new phone in India with the HMD Touch 4G. HMD's newest Touch 4G phone uses a 3.2-inch QVGA display, runs on UNISOC T127 and has 64MB of RAM with 128GB of storage. A 2MP rear sensor and 0.3MP front camera are equipped on the phone while having a 1,950mAH battery capacity. The HMD Touch 4G is not a smartphone and uses the brand's custom operating system called RTOS Touch. It's a platform for basic HMD browser apps but messaging like group chats and video calls in usual smartphones can only be done in a specific app called Express Chat (which can be downloaded by Android and iOS users). On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with a 32MP main camera, a change from the 50MP sensors seen in earlier models. The A5 4G is offered in four distinct color options.  The Redmi A5 4G is positioned as an entry-level smartphone, catering to users seeking essential features without a hefty price tag.
