HMD Touch 4G unveiled

HMD has announced a new phone in India with the HMD Touch 4G.

HMD’s newest Touch 4G phone uses a 3.2-inch QVGA display, runs on UNISOC T127 and has 64MB of RAM with 128GB of storage. A 2MP rear sensor and 0.3MP front camera are equipped on the phone while having a 1,950mAH battery capacity.

The HMD Touch 4G is not a smartphone and uses the brand’s custom operating system called RTOS Touch. It’s a platform for basic HMD browser apps but messaging like group chats and video calls in usual smartphones can only be done in a specific app called Express Chat (which can be downloaded by Android and iOS users).

The HMD Touch 4G goes for INR 4,999. There is no news if this device will arrive in our local shores.
