Acer is branching out into wearable technology with two new pairs of smart glasses, the AR Vision GR0 and the GI0 AI glasses. The Acer AR Vision GR0 is a pair of augmented reality glasses designed to act as a portable display. The glasses handle both standard 2D and 3D media, making them a solid option for "private public" (watching things privately in public) viewing or gaming on the move. Because they rely on your phone or laptop for power and processing, the glasses stay incredibly light at just 69 grams - and they include built-in open-ear speakers near your ears for natural stereo sound. These look much closer to regular eyeglasses and focus heavily on voice and camera features. The glasses connect to your phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, making them a handy travel tool for quick, hands-free tasks. Oakley and Meta have officially launched the Oakley Meta Vanguard AI glasses in India, bringing performance-focused smart eyewear to athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. The glasses use Oakley’s PRIZM lenses to improve colors and contrast, helping users see better outdoors.
