HP said it is increasing its focus on AI as demand for AI-enabled PCs continues to grow. During the VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2025 held at the Sagana C Ballroom, Shangri-La, Dell Technologies shared how organizations can prepare for the next big shift in workplace modernization, the rise of AI-powered PCs. The session was led by Ula Ladrillo, Client Solutions Specialist at Dell Technologies Philippines, Inc., who discussed how AI PCs are set to boost productivity, improve IT management, and support sustainability goals. According to Dell’s recent survey, 47% of IT leaders plan to integrate AI into their PCs, while 95% are focused on finding the right tools to enhance productivity and collaboration. By 2028, Dell expects nearly 98% of companies to adopt AI PCs. For a PC to be classified as an AI PC, it needs to deliver at least 10–11 trillion operations per second (TOPS), while Copilot+ PCs can reach over 40 TOPS, unlocking advanced features such as offline translation in 40+ languages and the new “recall” function for quick file retrieval. Beyond PCs, Dell is also building a complete AI-ready ecosystem through its AI Factory, which provides end-to-end support for businesses starting their AI adoption journey. Qualcomm is claiming that AI PCs will cost less than the latest iPhone in a recent earnings call.
