Dell Showcases the Future of AI PCs at VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2025

Listen to article

During the VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2025 held at the Sagana C Ballroom, Shangri-La, Dell Technologies shared how organizations can prepare for the next big shift in workplace modernization, the rise of AI-powered PCs.

The session was led by Ula Ladrillo, Client Solutions Specialist at Dell Technologies Philippines, Inc., who discussed how AI PCs are set to boost productivity, improve IT management, and support sustainability goals.

According to Dell’s recent survey, 47% of IT leaders plan to integrate AI into their PCs, while 95% are focused on finding the right tools to enhance productivity and collaboration. About 60% are also aiming to simplify IT management while keeping data secure. Ladrillo noted that these evolving priorities are driving companies to modernize their work setups, and Dell is committed to supporting them every step of the way.

By 2028, Dell expects nearly 98% of companies to adopt AI PCs. These devices are powered by Neural Processing Units (NPUs) that handle AI workloads like background blurring during video calls and real-time translation, freeing up the CPU for smoother performance. For a PC to be classified as an AI PC, it needs to deliver at least 10–11 trillion operations per second (TOPS), while Copilot+ PCs can reach over 40 TOPS, unlocking advanced features such as offline translation in 40+ languages and the new “recall” function for quick file retrieval.

Ladrillo also encouraged users to upgrade from Windows 10, as Microsoft will soon end its support and updates, which could lead to security and compatibility issues, especially with newer AI-integrated applications.

To make its lineup easier to understand, Dell simplified its product naming into three categories: Dell for students and light use, Dell Pro for IT-managed environments, and Dell Pro Max for high-performance workloads like AI development and creative tasks. Each model is available in multiple tiers: Essential, Base, Plus, and Premium with options across Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm processors.

Beyond PCs, Dell is also building a complete AI-ready ecosystem through its AI Factory, which provides end-to-end support for businesses starting their AI adoption journey. The company’s lineup now includes AI-enabled monitors, docks, keyboards, and audio accessories that can all be managed through a single software platform.

Sustainability was another highlight of the presentation. Dell announced that its latest devices now use recycled aluminum, steel, and plastics, with 100% recyclable packaging. The company also introduced a modular USB-C design that’s more durable and easier to repair, helping reduce e-waste and long-term costs. For IT administrators, Dell offers TechDirect, a free tool that proactively monitors devices and alerts IT teams about potential issues to minimize downtime.

Ladrillo closed the session by emphasizing that Dell is not just part of the AI revolution — it’s leading it. With decades of innovation, strong security practices, and a growing commitment to sustainability, Dell aims to help organizations work smarter, faster, and greener.

The VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2025 runs from October 14 to 17, bringing together technology leaders and partners to discuss trends shaping the future of digital transformation and enterprise solutions.
