Alcatel has just made official its latest Android smartphone that sports a 5-inch full HD display and an octa-core CPU - the One Touch Idol X+. We've already reported about the One Touch Idol X+ late last month but it was only today during CES when Alcatel made its official announcement. Alcatel's latest announcement brings it at par with the other superphones with the One Touch Idol X packing a quad-core processor and 5-inch 1080p display. However, if you are open to trying out a new interface, I'm sure you'll enjoy the intuitive touch screen of the iPhone. In iPod mode, the iPhone makes it a little hard to navigate between songs as controls are done via touchscreen. Without the iPhone, we would not have seen the likes of Samsung Instinct, Omnia i900, HTC Touch Diamond, LG Dare and Sony-Ericsson Xperia this early.
