Samsung Electronics has officially introduced four new ISOCELL sensors for its 0.7?m-pixel product lineup designed for mainstream smartphones, the 108MP ISOCELL HM2, 64MP ISOCELL GW3, 48MP ISOCELL GM5, and 32MP ISOCELL JD1. To allow it to smaller pixels to gather more light, Samsung incorporated its advanced ISOCELL Plus and Smart-ISO technologies, optimized for 0.7?m. Check out the features of the new 0.7?m ISOCELL lineup: ISOCELL HM2 108MP - features Super PD, a faster and more effective phase detecting autofocus solution. ISOCELL GM5 48MP - Designed for 5x optical telescoping and ultra-wide lenses. ISOCELL JD1 32MP - The industry’s smallest 32MP-image sensor at 1/3.14-inches, designed for selfies and ideal for smartphones with bezel-less displays. The Samsung ISOCELL HM2, GW3, and JD1 are currently in mass production, and the company is sampling GM5. For cameras, it 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, unspecified macro lens and a 32MP front camera.
