Google has released Beta 2 of Android 17. Google's Android 17 Beta 2 brings new features focused on privacy, security and easier app development. Google and Apple have started testing end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging between Android and iPhone users. Android users must install the latest Google Messages beta. Google confirms it will roll out Android 17 Beta 1 update soon, eligible first for  Pixel devices. The announcement came shortly after the release of Android 16 QPR3 Beta 2.1, indicating that Google’s next major Android update is already underway.
