Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5, based on Android 16 QPR2, will be the final major feature update for several older Galaxy devices, though they’ll continue receiving security patches for some time. This means models like the Galaxy S22 series (S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, S21 FE), Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, mid-rangers such as A73 5G, A53, A33, M05, F14/F05, and tablets including Tab S8 lineup, Tab A9/A9+, plus XCover 6 Pro, won’t see One UI 9 or later Android versions. All three phones run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 and feature large 120Hz LCD displays, making them well-suited for media consumption, social apps, and casual gaming. Sony has commenced the rollout of the Android 15 update for its mid-range smartphone, the Xperia 10 VI. This marks the first major operating system upgrade for the device, which originally launched with Android 14. The update arrives approximately three weeks after the Xperia 10 V received the same Android 15 treatment. While Sony has not provided a detailed changelog, users can anticipate enhancements similar to those observed in other Xperia models updated to Android 15.
