Sony has commenced the rollout of the Android 15 update for its mid-range smartphone, the Xperia 10 VI. This marks the first major operating system upgrade for the device, which originally launched with Android 14. The update arrives approximately three weeks after the Xperia 10 V received the same Android 15 treatment.

The new firmware bears the build number 70.1.A.0.425 and is reportedly under 1GB in size. While Sony has not provided a detailed changelog, users can anticipate enhancements similar to those observed in other Xperia models updated to Android 15. Expected features include: Private Space,New Wallpapers, Updated Home and Lock Screen Styles, Enhanced Side Sense Features, Redesigned Quick Settings Panel and Notification Shade, New Pop-up Windows, Bluetooth LE Audio Broadcasting.
Users are encouraged to check their device settings for the update notification and ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection during the download and installation process. As always, it’s advisable to back up important data before proceeding with the update.
