We earlier posted a story on the release of Android 4.1's source code which will pave the way for custom ROMs to reach [some] Android devices with varying clock speeds and screen sizes which is great news to us 'flashers'. Google has just announced [through their official Google+ Nexus page] that they've started sending out the Android 4.1 Jellybean update to GSM/HSPA+ flavors of their Galaxy Nexus phone. Carrier versions of the device (locals who happen to own an AT&T and T-Mobile Nexus phones) should expect the latest Android version within the next few days as well. So far, the build version of Android 4.1 currently existing is the JRO03C with more to follow. The Android 4.1 Jellybean is Google's latest iteration of the Android platform.
