Along with the new mirrorless camera, Samsung also unveiled their upcoming Android-powered point-and-shoot camera dubbed as the Galaxy Camera 2. The Galaxy Camera 2 inherits all the basic features of its predecessor including the same 23-431mm zoom range, 16MP1/2.3-inch image sensor and the same 4.8-inch touchscreen display on the back that doubles as the main control panel for the Android-powered camera. Apart from a handful of similarities, the Galaxy Camera 2 has received a few a nominal upgrades that we’re notably missing on the first release. Samsung also gave the new Galaxy Camera a minor facelift by adding a faux-leather coating to its exterior. Moreover, Sammy has added an NFC chip to the camera’s connectivity arsenal, allowing users to easily share their snaps to other devices. Back in December, Sakar International was allegedly working on an Android MILC which is dubbed as Polaroid iM1836. Well, turns out that the rumors are true and they recently unveiled the camera at CES. Contrary to early reports, the Polaroid iM1836 will actually run on Android Jelly Bean, not ICS.
