Now, there's an Android smartphone case that can go full retro and play Game Boy cartridges on your Android smartphone. The Smart Boy Development Kit by Hyperkin turns Android smartphones into handheld consoles that can play Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. You just have to plug it into any appropriately-sized Android phone running KitKat 4.4.4 or above via microUSB and you're good to go. The retro case also features a fully functional D-pad as well as A and B keys and runs games featured on the original Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps. Android 12L is set to release in early 2022, but the new features are now available on the 12L developer preview page. All you have to do is download the Android 12L emulator to get started.
