AnTuTu, maker of the most popular smartphone and tablet benchmarking utility for Android, AnTuTu Benchmarks, has released a list of their ten top performing smartphones for Q2 of 2014. AnTuTu's list is based on the average scores that users submitted from April to June 2014 using AnTuTu Benchmark V4. The latest beta version of Android 16 and the March Pixel Feature Drop for Android 15 have introduced enhanced GPU drivers that deliver noticeably higher Vulkan API benchmark scores on Geekbench. Beyond benchmark scores, users might not immediately notice the difference in everyday applications, yet the enhanced GPU performance has the potential to deliver smoother graphics, faster processing, and an overall more enjoyable mobile gaming experience. Indeed, our own benchmark tests showed scores that we've never seen before. According to the folks at AnTuTu, their benchmark tests show the Find X7 as the fastest Android phone of the month. Powered by the Dimensity 9300 chip, the Find X7 maintained its momentum from January with an average score of over 2,195,036 million on AnTuTu's comprehensive tests. MediaTek's Dimensity 9300 has achieved a new record for the AnTuTu benchmark score. AnTuTu has announced on Weibo that a new benchmark for Android platforms has been scored.
