Apple is planning to integrate Google's Gemini to Apple Intelligence soon. Spotted in Apple's iOS 18.4 beta, it looks like the company is planning on integrating Google's Gemini to their system. Google and Apple are working together to make it easier for users to switch between Android and iOS devices, according to a new report. Apple is close to making a deal to pay Google about $1 billion every year to use Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence model to improve Siri, according to a report from Bloomberg. The agreement would give Apple access to a custom version of Google’s AI as the company works on upgrading its voice assistant for future iPhones and other devices. Apple plans to use Google’s AI model for now while it continues to develop its own AI system. For comparison, Apple’s present cloud-based AI uses 150 billion parameters, making Google’s model much larger and more advanced. After comparing their performance, Apple decided that Google’s model worked best for what it needed.
