#Apple M4 Pro and M4 Max chips

Alongside the latest MacBook Pro, the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips have been unveiled. Additionally, the M4 Max is equipped with a media engine which includes two video encoding engines and two ProRes accelerators. The M4 Pro and M4 Max chips both support Apple Intelligence on macOS Sequoia. Apple claims that the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 can deliver: * Up to 7.7x faster AI video-enhancing performance in Topaz Video when compared to the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, and up to 1.8x faster than the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4. Apple has officially unveiled its newest lineup of laptops, the MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.  The new Mac lineup is now powered with the M1 chip, Apple's first system on chip (SoC) designed for Mac. In Apple's announcement, the company discovered that a limited number of older generation 15-inch MacBook Pro units may have batteries that are prone to overheating and pose a fire safety risk.
