The new Tap to Pay feature for iPhones was seen in action at the Apple Park Visitor Center in Cupertino, California. It won’t require any new hardware and it’ll allow users to do the contactless payment, either credit or debit, between two iPhones (starting iPhone XS onwards) through Apple Pay. Based on the video, the process of Tap to Pay seems seamless, it’ll just take a few seconds for the money transfer between the two iPhones within close range of each other. No announcements yet from Apple on when is the release of Tap to Pay to their devices but the footage confirms that it’s been used or tested at the Apple Park. Apple has introduced a new subscription option on the App Store that lets users pay monthly while committing for 12 months. With this option, users can subscribe and pay each month instead of paying for a full year upfront. However, they agree to complete 12 monthly payments. Users can still cancel anytime, but the subscription will only stop after they finish the remaining payments in the 12-month period.
