Whatever and however you wanna describe it, the new ASUS FonePad Note FHD 6 is one fascinating phablet which we think is slated to be the affordable alternative for the upcoming SGN3. The six hundred pound gorilla in the room here is the concept behind the new FonePad Note which is undeniably inspired by the Galaxy Note lineup. The ASUS FonePad Note doesn’t look or feel like a premium device right on the onset, at least from the design standpoint that is. Unfortunately, these minor design accents don’t help the FonePad Note FHD 6 with its cause as it failed to redeem the handset from its plastic-y appearance. The same goes for the micro-USB port which sits at the chin of the FonePad Note. For occasional (or sometimes habitual) selfies and video chat needs, the FonePad Note is also equipped with a 1.2MP camera on the front. We have high hopes for this setup in terms of performance and battery consumption as we we’re blown away with the first ASUS FonePad. We guess we just have to wait for our next second encounter with the ASUS FonePad Note then.
