ASUS has officially launched the FonePad here in the Philippines with a price tag under Php15K. The ASUS FonePad will come in two variants: a 32GB model with an SRP of Php14,995, and an 8GB model (1.2GHz Z2420 Intel Atom processor) with an SRP of Php11,995. And just like its sibling, the ASUS FonePad will run on Android Jelly bean (4.1.2) right out of the gate. ASUS will be releasing the FonePad in two models initially; 8GB and 16GB. Another feature that’s missing on the popular tablet is the phone functionality which is clearly one of the main advantages that the ASUS FonePad has over its competition.
