ASUS, in partnership with Lazada, has launched the Picture Perfect Sale that gives huge discounts on select ZenFone smartphones -- the ZenFone 3 zoom and the ZenFone 4. The ZenFone 4 which sports a 12MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, 8MP front camera, and 3,300mah battery will have a price of PHP 11,295 (from PHP 29,995). The ZenFone 3 Zoom on the other hand that comes with a 4GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, 13MP front camera, 5,000mAh battery with quick charging, and reverse charging is going to be priced at PHP 6,295 (from PHP 19,995). The ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom is not the company's first "zoom" smartphone. In 2015, they released the original Zenfone Zoom, however, it didn't get enough traction considering the price and competition. After two years, ASUS revived the Zenfone 3 Zoom with a fairly strong combination of premium build, dual rear cameras, capable specs, and large battery. Design and Construction Asus went back to the drawing board and had to re-think the concept that would best represent their "Zoom" line. As a result, the Zenfone 3 Zoom sports a very different look compared to its predecessor.
