Paymaya adds a new feature in its app that allows commuters to purchase QR and other travel tickets on select public transportation options. Commuters may now pay for their beep QR tickets for the BGC Bus in Taguig and the Topline Express Ferry routes in Cebu, avoiding them to queue in long lines in the stations. The beep QR ticket will be scanned at the station for validation before boarding.  It has validity for 24 hours. Commuters can also top up their beep cards for use in other transportation lines, such as LRT and MRT, through the PayMaya app under the Treat menu. They need to select a beep card load package, input their beep card number, confirm their purchase, wait for the notification, and tap their card on a beep e-load station to receive the load package. PayMaya users may also top-up their EasyTrip or Autosweep RFID accounts and pay for their airplane tickets from Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines using PayMaya. have just announced that BGC Buses are now also using the beep™ card system, the same payment scheme that is already used in Metro Manila train systems. Commuters who have a beep™ card may already use them to pay for their rides, fare remains at Php12 per ride. The BGC Bus line connects BGC to EDSA and Ayala Center.
