Following up on the success of its previous event, the Philippine Bicycle Demo Group has just concluded its second Bike Demo Day that happened yesterday, December 11, 2016, in Filinvest City, Alabang. The event was held in hopes to bridge the Filipino biking community and various brands of bicycles and accessories in the world market today. About 4,000 cyclists swarmed the event to experience a bicycle fiesta that showcased more than 150 bikes on display from 35 brands. During the event, enthusiasts could ride and try out their preferred bicycle (whether for road or trail) around the wide open area. How it works is it shows you other registered users in a specific neighborhood or city that have bicycles for rent. There a few bicycle listings around Metro Manila so you could check them out if ever the need to rent arises. The KODO bike is a track racer with a fixed gear (also called a fixie) that "seeks to express the innate beauty of the bicycle." The frame came from hammering a single sheet of steel, while the black leather saddle is hand-stitched.
