After countless rumors and leaks in cyberspace, Blackberry has finally unveiled the KEY2 LE, a more affordable option to the already-released KEY2 flagship phone. The toned-down KEY2 LE takes the key essential design points from the Key2 and brings back memories as it features a physical keyboard just below a 4.5-inch, 3:2 aspect ratio display. When you slide up the 3.2†capacitive touchscreen, you'll be presented with almost identical keyboard as with the BlackBerry Bold. You can use the oh so great classic BlackBerry keyboard or the onscreen keyboard when the slider is down. Research in Motion (RIM) unveiled today their new BlackBerry Torch 9800 handset which comes with both a full qwerty slider keyboard and a full touch-screen display. The biggest challenge for the BlackBerry Storm when it shed the physical keys was the virtual keyboard.
