Canon Philippines has confirmed that their latest mirrorless cameras compatible with RF lenses, the EOS R5 and EOS R6, will be launching locally on August 12. The EOS R5 and EOS R6 also come with Canon's advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, utilizing up to 100% coverage of the AF area, as well as the EOS iTR AF X that incorporates AF tracking algorithms using deep learning, enhanced readout speed of the CMOS sensor, and the DIGIC X image processor. His winning entry earned him a Canon EOS R6 Mark III paired with an RF 24-105mm IS STM lens, a major upgrade from the Canon EOS RP he used during the competition. Canon organized a whole-day affair to celebrate the Philippine release of over 30 products in their line, including the much awaited EOS 5D, 50D and 1000D. I got some shots and price list below: The Canon EOS 5D Mark II came out sometime last week -- boasts of a 21.1 megapixel full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor, DIGIC IV. The Canon EOS 50D on the other hand was first announced last August (see specs here) -- has a 15.1 megapixel sensor and an ISO of up to 12800.
