Canon has announced two new digital entry-level cameras - the EOS M50 Interchangeable Lens Camera, and the EOS Rebel T7 DSLR. The EOS M50 is the first Canon EOS M-series camera with 4K video recording and features a Dual Pixel CMOS AF, 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor, and New DIGIC 8 Image Processor. Next is the EOS Rebel T7 DSLR which is a successor to the EOS Rebel T6. The EOS Rebel T7 is scheduled to be available in April 2018, and will be sold as a lens-and-body kit with the EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS II for an estimated retail price of $549.99. Canon Philippines has officially revealed the local pricing and availability of the new EOS R6 V, a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at photographers and content creators. The EOS R6 V features a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Canon's DIGIC X image processor. Canon also equipped the EOS R6 V with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, capable of subject tracking and face recognition for up to 100 registered people. The Canon EOS R6 V is available for pre-order through Henry's Cameras stores nationwide and during the Henry's Cameras Photo Fiesta from June 19 to 21, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
