The EOS C50 XLR is capable of 7K 3:2 open-gate recording, UHD 4K at up to 120fps, and 2K at up to 180fps. It also comes with dual-base ISO at 800 and 6400, a full-size HDMI port, a DIN timecode connector, and support for simultaneous crop recording. Canon has also integrated Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud for streamlined workflows.

The camera includes a top handle with XLR audio inputs and an adjustable-speed zoom rocker. Storage options include CFexpress Type-B and SD card slots.
