Canon EOS R50 V and PowerShot V1 launched, priced in the Philippines

The Canon EOS R50 V and Canon PowerShot V1 have been launched, priced, and are now available in the Philippines.

The Canon EOS R50 V features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and a DIGIC X image processor. It supports 4K 60p video recording, vertical video recording, and livestreaming via USB-C.

The camera is compatible with the new RF-S14-30mm f/4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens with power zoom and 15 customizable zoom speeds. The EOS R50 V omits the EVF for a more compact build optimized for vlogging and handheld use.

Meanwhile, the Canon PowerShot V1 is a compact camera with a large 1.4-inch sensor. This is combined with an integrated zoom lens covering a 16-50mm equivalent.

It sports a built-in 3-stop ND filter and ensures professional-quality footage in terms of subject tracking in any condition. It also packs an internal cooling fan that enables extended recording sessions up to 6 hours.

Both cameras support 10-bit Canon Log 3 (for professional color grading), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and direct PC streaming.

The Canon EOS R50 V with RF-S14-30mm f/4-6.3 (camera only) is priced at PHP 56,998. The Canon PowerShot V1, on the other hand, is available for PHP 54,998.

The Canon EOS R50 V Content Creator Kit is also available for PHP 64,998. It includes an HG-TBR100 tripod grip and a DM-E100 microphone.
