Google Chrome has announced new upgrades to its AI Mode. Google has added a new AI feature called “Skills” to its Chrome browser to help users save and reuse their favorite AI tasks. The feature started rolling out on Tuesday for desktop users who are signed into their Google account and using English (US) as their browser language. Skills works with Google’s Gemini AI, which is already built into Chrome. In a recent blog post, Google announced that they’ll be having Gemini built-in to the Chrome browser. With Gemini in Chrome, users can ask questions about articles, generate quick summaries, and get information from YouTube videos. Chrome’s address bar, or omnibox, is also getting an AI Mode. For instance, when shopping online, Chrome can suggest checking product warranties.
