Cherry Mobile has officially launched today the successor to last year's ultra affordable Flare in the form of the quad-core-packing Jellybean-powered Flare 2.0. The CM Flare 2.0 sports a 4-inch WVGA display, a 5 megapixel camera, VGA front-facing, and 4GB of internal storage with microSD card support. The Flare 2.0 has an SRP of Php3,999 and will be available in SM North EDSA tomorrow at 1 pm. During the latter part of September, Cherry Mobile has launched the Flare 2.0 which is part of the second wave of handsets under the local company’s portfolio. Much like its predecessor, there’s nothing really spectacular about the Flare 2.0’s physical attributes. Display The Flare 2.0 is equipped with the same 4-inch WVGA display of its predecessor. However, if you’re not too particular about those little enhancements usually found on a pricier phone, then we think that you should be able to tolerate the Flare 2.0’s shortcoming in the display category. Unfortunately, the all-too-good user experience was ruined by the square icons that somewhat made the Flare 2.0 look like a toy rather than a decent smartphone.
