Sony has just unveiled a limited edition watch in honor of PlayStation's 30th year. Sony has teamed up with design brand Anicorn to launch a limited edition mechanical watch celebrating 30 years of PlayStation. The watch features a Miyota automatic movement and incorporates PlayStation’s iconic triangle, circle, cross, and square symbols on the dial. The back of the watch shows an openwork design inspired by a PlayStation optical drive and it comes with a PS1 memory card shaped certificate. This collectible combines gaming nostalgia with traditional watchmaking for fans and collectors alike. There are also two other watches: one that is based solely on the PlayStation Play Symbols in Light and Dark modes. Moreover, we feel like these companies are looking at something more as each one are confirming that they're working on something else other than a smartphone or a tablet -- specifically a smartwatch. Samsung has already confirmed that they are working on a smartwatch, while companies such as LG, Apple and Google were reported to be working on one too.
