PLDT has announced that it is launching the D-Link Tri-band Gigabit Router as a partner to its PLDT Home Fibr service. And to make sure that the router can accommodate such speeds, PLDT is partnering with D-Link to launch two routers for the service - the AC 3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router and AC 1900 Wi-Fi Router. The D-Link AC 3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router is the most high-end and is for homes with multiple and demanding connection requirements like gaming, 4K media streaming, video calling, parental controls, and remote access and management. The AC 1900 Wi-Fi Router, according to PLDT, "packs just as much power with enhanced performance and maximum Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home." The Tri-band Gigabit Router is available to PLDT Home Fibr subscribers for an additional Php699 a month. Subscribers can also opt for the AC 1900. D-Link's got their own pocket WiFi (D-Link DWR-530) with the same features and functionalities that we've seen before from the likes of Huawei and ZTE. The D-Link DWR-530 was launched back in January 17, 2012. We got a sample unit from D-Link and been using the router since this week-end.
