Nikon Philippines, in an effort to welcome the early Christmas spirit of shopping, slashes off prices on its cameras, Some of the cameras include the D610, D3200, D5200, and the L29. Nikon revamps their upper entry-level offering with the release of the 24MP-toting D5200. The Nikon D5200 is outfitted with the new EXPEED3 image processor that allows it to shoot up to 5fps compared to its predecessor that can only go 4fps. Though both the D5100 and D5200 has the same DX format APS-C sensor, Nikon was able to squeeze in an additional 8MP on the latter’s sensor. In terms of video recording, the D5200 offers users with more shooting options compared to its older brother. Nikon D5200 specs: 24MP CMOS sensor 23.6 x 15.7mm DX format EXPEED3 processor ISO 100-1600 (expandable up to 12800 HI or 25600 H2) 30-1/4000 sec. Nikon also mentioned that they’ll still be offering the D5100 and the ageing D90 alongside the new D5200.
