As the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona approaches, HONOR has confirmed that it will demo its AI deepfake detection technology along with other AI features under its so-called “HONOR Alpha Plan”. First introduced at the MWC Shanghai last year, HONOR’s AI deepfake detection technology uses on-device advanced AI algorithms to detect subtle inconsistencies that the human eye might miss. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite NPU offers local deepfake detection while maintaining user privacy with the help of McAfee’s AI models. We should be able to see HONOR’s deepfake detection feature in action starting March 2nd at the MWC Barcelona.
